Cambridge ON, March 23, 2023 – Allianz Global Assistance Canada has recently welcomed Roger Marcelo as its new Vice President, Business Development. Marcelo joined the leading travel insurance and assistance company this month and will be focusing on the business’ broker channel.
The new VP is marking 30 years in the insurance industry this year, where he has held a variety of impactful management roles. Most recently, Marcelo was a Regional Sales Director at Intact Financial Corporation.

Marcelo is an enthusiastic leader who has a clear passion for building relationships and talent within the industry, which has included teaching CIP classes for over five years with the Insurance Institute of Southern Alberta.

Marcelo will manage Allianz’ broker sales team and work closely with the company’s broker partners across Canada.
